The ensemble of cymbalists of the Vitebsk Regional Philharmonic was established in 2024. The band currently includes laureates of international competitions Sergey Timoshenko, Ekaterina Melnikova and concertmaster Marina Popkova.
Today, modern Belarusian dulcimers are on stage, the capabilities of which allow us to brilliantly perform not only folk tunes, but also outstanding compositions of academic instrumental music, ancient melodies of French harpsichords, virtuoso violin concertos. The band's program includes works of various styles, from Belarusian national folklore to modern academic classics.
