Ekaterina Sergeevna Melnikova was born on January 22, 2000 in the village of Mazolovo, Vitebsk region. She graduated with honors from the Mazolovskaya Secondary School in the class of "cymbals" (2010-2015, class of N.A. Bardina) and studied at the department of choreography at the same time.
She graduated with honors from the Vitebsk State College of Music named after I.I. Sollertinsky (2015-2019, class of S.V. Timoshenko). During her studies, she became a laureate of numerous national and international festivals and competitions: "Smolensky Diamond" (Smolensk 2015, 2016, 2017), "Viva la musica" (Daugavpils 2017), "Art-Dominant" (Kharkiv, 2019). She has repeatedly performed as a soloist with the Orchestra of Belarusian Folk Instruments of the Vitebsk State Musical College named after I.I. Sollertinsky (directed by S.V. Timoshenko). She also took part in the concert activities of the city and the college as part of the ensemble "Garezlyya perazvony" (ruk. Bykova A.V.).
In 2019, she entered the Belarusian State Academy of Music. She studied under Rydlevskaya L.L. by profession, Great-grandfather V.A. At the moment, she is a 5th-year student in the class of Sushchenko T.M. For three years she played in the Lilya ensemble (ruk. Gladkov E.P.), where she conducted active concert activities in Belarus and Russia. She performed at the Palace of the Republic and the Palace of Independence in a duet with her Great-grandfather V.A. and the Presidential Orchestra (Minsk). In 2022, as a representative of the BGAM, she attended the XXII International Conservatory Week Festival (St. Petersburg). At the moment, he is actively engaged in concert activities as a soloist.
